Led by Nicole A. Hefty, MPA—award-winning fundraiser, strategist, municipal innovator, and unapologetic public service nerd—HC helps cities, nonprofits, and public institutions turn complex challenges into catalytic funding, programs, and policy. We also work with organizations to create high-impact teams, plan events with a focus on user experience, and even assist with optimizing day to day work with tools you already have.

Nicole is a Legacy-Builder. Take a look at the Dearborn PEACE Parks as an example of what her work can do. Serving as a municipal appointee under two mayors, she has now built two full service municipal Grant Departments, working alone to raise $60 Million and counting. She shreds complex challenges into catalytic funding for projects that uplift entire communities.  Her work has been nationally recognized by Crain’s Detroit, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and won her acceptance to Harvard University’s Senior Executives in State & Local Government 2024 cohort
